GUIDELINES FOR CONTRIBUTORS
Write as clearly as possible! Do not use vague words and terms as far as possible! Avoid terms that can be interpreted in more than one way! For example, do not use the term ‘establishment’ in Pakistani context if you want to say the Pakistani army or military!
Make sure you do not plagiarize! If you quote a person/source, use “” to make it clear! Try to avoid quoting unnamed sources like ‘sources said that…’ Try to identify the sources to the extent possible – if you cannot identify a source, you can write something like ‘an official of the XYZ company who is not authorized to speak on behalf of the company but has the knowledge of the event…
When writing about a person, use the official name and spelling – PPP chairperson’s name is Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and not just Bilawal Zardari. Many names can be spelled differently. Make sure you use the spelling used by the owner – like Imran is also spelled like Emran and Pervez is also spelled Pervaiz.
