Jamal Vali is a graduate of George Mason University Virginia where he studied film and political science. He was born in Iranian Baluchistan and moved to the United States with his parents in 1998 and now lives in Western Europe. He divides his time between Europe and Middle East. He is currently working on a book on the cinema in the Middle East.

Sarah Cohen is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia, and specializes in South Asian history. She extensively travels to South and Central Asia for research. She has contributed to international press. She is also a member of the editorial team.
